For annual exams 2015 of Diploma in Interior Design and Diploma in Textile Design, the admission form submission schedule has been announced by Punjab University for the candidates. According to the university, 19th February 2016 and 22nd February 2016 are the dates till then the candidates can submit their admission forms with single and double fee respectively.
Just few months ago, the B.Com part 2 supply exams 2015 were conducted by University of the Punjab. In these B.Com part 2 supply exams 2015, several failed students of B.Com part 2 annual exams 2015 took part. Now Punjab University has announced the results of these supply exams 2015 of B.Com part 1 for the concerned students. Punjab University will send the result cards of these exams at the mentioned addresses of the students within a week while the results have already been uploaded at the official site of PU from where the candidates can view their detailed results.
The admission forms submission dates have been notified by Sindh University for LLM (previous & final) failure annual exams 2014 for Institute of Law. 1st to 10th February 2016 is the schedule to submit admission forms without late fee while the students can also submit admission forms with Rs. 1000 late fee and Rs. 2000 late fee till 11th February 2016 and from 16th to 19th February 2016. The admissions forms for LLM exams can be obtained from Institute of Law, Qazi Campus, Hyderabad.
The examination form submission dates for BA/ BSC part 1 annual exam 2016 have been extended by Punjab University. According to the notification by PU, the students of BA/ BSC part 1 can submit admission forms with single fee and double fee till 10th February 2016 and till 18th February 2016 respectively. The single fees for BA part 1 and BSC part 1 are Rs. 3500 and Rs. 4050 respectively.
For B.Ed annual exams 2016, Punjab University has extended the registration form submission dates. According to the latest announcement, the candidates can submit their registration forms from 25th January to 31st March 2016, from 1st April to 3rd May 2016 and from 4th May to 23rd June 2016 with single fee of Rs. 2875, with Rs. 1000 late fee and with double fee respectively.
Passing BA/ BSC in 2015 or earlier and having two years teaching experience in any public or recognized private school is mandatory for the candidates before their registration for B.ED annual exams 2016. The candidates have to attach attested copies of all the educational documents and CNIC along with origin challan form with the registration form.
From 1st February 2016, Allama Iqbal Open University Hyderabad Campus will start admission in semester spring 2016 for various programs from matric to PhD level. 4th March 2016 is the last date to submit admission forms without late fee. Admission forms are available from sale points and also from AIOU Regional Campus H# 2/26 civil line in front of PTCL Tower Hyderabad for new candidates. The computerized admission forms of continuous students have already been sent by AIOU on their addresses. Through AIOU website, the students can download the admission forms.
Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad converts the marks system into grading system to show the academic results. Now AIOU will adopt the grade point average (GPA) and the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) so that they can provide convenience to the students in their future grading and education. Vice Chancellor of AIOU chaired the meeting of the academic council of the university, in which it was decided that the marks system would be converted into grading system.
Higher Educqation Commission is its own formula for the GPA and CGPA grading and it would be applied on the master degree classes, honor, MPhil and PhD programs for the students, passing with 50% marks. It is further added that the university has already approved the GPA/CGPA system by executive council of university for bachelor program of 4 years.
Dr Shahid Siddiqui said that AIOU has to adopt this similar system for making new marking procedure to show the results and the candidates of this university will be at the similar stage of the students of other universities at domestic and international level. Now the candidates can apply for admission or seek employment in any department on different posts.
With the change in the marks system, the older students will face different problems and they want to convert their degrees marks in the GPA and CGPA. The university has decided to meet the criteria of Executive council or the HEC to grant them degrees in the same marking system. He said that the students would have to take care of their academic excellent as this system was developed to support the students and it certifies the quality of education. With the adoption of this system, the university improves the exams system and keeps its transparency level and the overall procedure on the merit.
Karachi, University of Karachi will start the admission process in the graduate and postgraduate classes in different disciplines. The students are invited to send their application forms, which will be started from 07 December 2015. The students need to check the detail of subjects, before filling up their admission forms as these are given for the information of the students. The students can fill their forms and send to the admission department of Karachi University till the final date of 21 December 2015. The entry tests of the candidates were also conducted and the students coming from Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, KPK, Baluchistan and Sindh attended the entry tests of the candidates. The students need to know that the admission is being granted to the students in the departments of Fine Arts, Textile Design, Communication Design and Architecture. The university has also declared that there are about 100 seats, which are vacant and the students can appear in the test after getting the admission in the relevant department of Mehran University. Karachi, University of Karachi is going to receive the admission forms from the private candidates, who want to appear in the BA and B.Com classes in the part 1 or part 2 or part 1 and part 2 combined. The students can send their application forms and they also need to deposit the exams fee till the final date of 08 December 2015.
