USAID awarding scholarships to the students of KPK and FATA

According to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and educational scholarships will be awarded to the students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas and the number of students entitled are five. The scholarship according to USAID is for those students who are affected by the disaster in KPK and FATA.

According to the plan of USAID around 1000 educational scholarship will be provided to the affected students and scholarship will last for the coming three years.

The region has a total of 15000 families who are living here since 2003 comprising of widows (major portion) and deprived childrens. The Conflict Victims Program by the USAID has many positives in it as it will provide a $25 million to the students, families and people who have suffered from the disaster. The motive of the program is to provide educational scholarships as well as other benefits to the students.
